Majestic America Line, formed through the combination of the American West Steamboat Company and the Delta Queen Steamboat Company, is the largest river and coastal cruising operator in the United States. Its U.S.-flagged, U.S.-built ships offer a uniquely American travel experience, and while reminiscent of a simpler, slower-paced era, these spacious vessels are outfitted with all the modern amenities. The onboard environment is comfortable and casual, making it easy to get acquainted with fellow passengers.

The Delta Queen, Mississippi Queen and American Queen cruise through the Old South and America's Heartland. Each sailing aboard these old-fashioned paddle wheelers features an onboard Discovery Guide whose stories bring the history and tales of the Mississippi River and its tributaries to life.

Across the country, re-created 19th-century sternwheelers combine history and adventure on cruises of Alaska and along the waterways of the Pacific Northwest, including the Columbia, Willamette and Snake rivers. Vessels display art and artifacts of the Old West, and an expert historian or lecturer is aboard every cruise. Due to the smaller size of these ships, passengers get an up-close view of the region's amazing scenery.
