Day 1 - ARRIVE PHOENIX - SCOTTSDALE
Welcome to Arizona! Your airport transfer takes you to your tour hotel in Scottsdale. Tonight, gather with your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception, drinks and a light informal meal. (Welcome Reception)

Day 2 - SEDONA AND THE WONDERS OF THE GRAND CANYON
Head for the mystic town of Sedona, set amid the scenic beauty of Red Rock Country. Browse the stores and galleries, or join an optional jeep excursion. Now one of Arizona’s finest drives leads you through Oak Creek Canyon to the Grand Canyon National Park. Join a local specialist for an informative presentation about the wonders of the Grand Canyon. Experience breathtaking vistas as the sun sets on the canyon walls. Spend the night inside the park, enjoying peace and quiet after the crowds have departed. This evening, enjoy a private dinner in the Thunderbird Room while taking in the magnificent views of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. (Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 3 to Day 4 - GLEN CANYON DAM, LAKE POWELL AND MONUMENT VALLEY
Maybe watch the sunrise over the canyon, take an optional flightseeing tour, or board the park shuttle to various lookouts. Move on to the Historic Cameron Trading Post, featuring Southwest Native American arts and crafts. Continue through the Painted Desert and Navajo Indian Reservation before stopping at the Glen Canyon Dam. Check-in to your resort where your room has guaranteed lake views. Then relax on a scenic Lake Powell cruise through Antelope Canyon with its steep, sandstone walls. Tonight, enjoy an interpretive presentation about the Colorado Plateau and its ecosystem. The next day is yours to relax and enjoy the resort’s facilities or join a complimentary guided tour to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. (Full Breakfast / Dinner / Full Breakfast)

Day 5 - BRYCE CANYON'S STONY SYMPHONY
Perhaps join an optional float trip down one of the most scenic stretches of the Colorado River before heading to Bryce Canyon National Park. Enjoy a walk along Sunset Point to view the great amphitheatres of odd-shaped monoliths known as hoodoos. There is time at leisure before checking in at the lodge. In the evening, join your Tour Director for a highlight dinner including drinks. (Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 6 - ZION TO LAS VEGAS - FROM NATURE TO NEON
Travel through more amazing scenery to the lush cliff-and-canyon landscape of Zion National Park. Experience the scenic highlights of the canyon aboard a private shuttle with live commentary followed by some time to explore at your own pace. A complete change of scenery awaits you this afternoon in Las Vegas - bright lights and neon signs. However, your hotel is a breath of fresh air - no gaudy themes here, just stylish, modern and luxurious, the most tasteful address on the Las Vegas strip. (Full Breakfast)

Day 7 - SALT LAKE CITY
Travel on to Salt Lake City, capital and the most populous city in the state of Utah, and headquarters for the Mormon religion. (Full Breakfast)

Day 8 - JACKSON AND GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK
This morning, join an orientation tour of Salt Lake City seeing the famous Temple Square. Then travel north across the Oregon Trail to visit historic Jackson, where arches of elk antlers adorn the central square. Later, continue to your lakeside lodge overlooking Jackson Lake and the stunning peaks and glaciers of the Grand Teton National Park, which thrust skyward some 2,000 metres off the valley floor. (Full Breakfast)

Day 9 to Day 10 - EXPLORING NATURE ON THE BOIL AT YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
Stop to admire some of the incredible views at Jenny Lake. Then enter Yellowstone, known for its unique geothermal activity, spectacular landscapes and abundant wildlife. You are joined by a local guide for an informative stroll through the Upper Geyser Basin. The following day is completely at leisure. Walk among the geysers, see the bubbling mudpots and observe Old Faithful shooting water over 120ft in the air. Experience the roar of the Lower Yellowstone Falls and see free-roaming deer, elk and bear in their natural habitat. (Full Breakfast / Dinner / Full Breakfast)

Day 11 - BUFFALO BILL, BILLINGS AND BILLS OF FARE
Depart Yellowstone National Park and travel through the stark Shoshone Canyon and Absaroka Rocky Mountains to reach the Wild West town of Cody. Visit the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, built in honour of one of America’s great western legends. Head onward to the old cattle town of Billings, Montana. For your dining pleasure this evening, there are a selection of restaurants to choose from. (Full Breakfast / Dine Around)

Day 12 to Day 13 - DEADWOOD, CUSTER STATE PARK AND THE BLACK HILLS OF SOUTH DAKOTA
Relive Custer’s Last Stand and learn about the Indian Wars at the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. Keep a lookout for pronghorn antelope as you cross the great high plains to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Immortalised by the likes of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane during the 1870’s gold rush, join Kevin Costner’s Original Deadwood Tour to explore this once lawless town. Continue to Custer State Park, famous for its beautiful landscape and abundant wildlife. After dinner, relax on the porch and take in the serenity. The next day, view the Crazy Horse Memorial, and visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial, where the heads of four exalted US presidents dominate the Black Hills. The rest of the day is at leisure. Day 14 - FORT LARAMIE AND CHEYENNE, THE CROSSROADS TO THE WEST
Cross the grasslands and high plains of Wyoming to visit Fort Laramie, a former frontier outpost of the U.S. Cavalry that witnessed the sweeping saga of America’s western expansion during the 19th Century. Continue to the Wild West town of Cheyenne, one of the great railroad junctions in America. (Full Breakfast)

Day 15 - THE 'MILE HIGH CITY' OF DENVER
Climb high into the breathtaking Rocky Mountain National Park, cross the Continental Divide and follow the beginnings of the Colorado River (weather permitting). Continue to Denver for an orientation tour of the city’s highlights. The west steps of the Colorado State Capitol stand exactly 5,280 feet above sea level (one mile high!) earning the city its claim to fame. Tonight, toast the culmination of a fantastic tour at a Celebration Dinner. (Full Breakfast / Celebration Dinner)

Day 16 - DEPART DENVER
Your holiday comes to an end today. A departure transfer to Denver International Airport is provided. (Full Breakfast)
