Day 2 Istanbul
This morning visit Topkapi Palace and spend some time wandering the evocative Grand Bazaar before an afternoon at leisure. Scenic Enrich: Tonight, a special treat awaits you as you enjoy your farewell dinner at the stunning Hamdi Restaurant,where outstanding views over the Golden Horn are accompanied by the call to prayer echoing from numerous surrounding mosques.(B,D)

Day 3 Istanbul
Highlights of the day include a visit to the most magnifi cent examples of Byzantium architecture, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. This afternoon choose from the following Included Scenic FreeChoice tours: (1) a traditional Turkish cooking class where you’ll learn the art of making delicious plates of meze, after which you get to eat them, of course; or (2) enjoy an insightful tour of Istanbul’s Byzantine past, see Zeyek Mosque, second only in size to Hagia Sophia as a Byzantium monument; or (3) a visit to an Ottoman Yali, the fashionable summer palaces of the wealthy. Day 4 Istanbul
Travel along the Northern Aegean coast heading towards Istanbul. It is famously the only city in the world crossing two continents and linking east with west. Three Night Stay: Ceylan Intercontinental or similar.(B,D)

Day 5 GallipoliCanakkale
Today travel to the Gallipoli Peninsula, site of the WWI landings by allied forces, on the morning of April 25, 1915. There are over 31 cemeteries on the peninsula which is now a national park. Explore the sights and gain an understanding of this unforgettable location. Afterwards enjoy a fascinating tour of Homer’s Troy, a legendary site of the Trojan Wars. You will even see a giant replica of the Trojan horse.(B,L,D)

Day 6 Canakkale  Nessebar
Today journey from Bulgaria to Canakkale, Turkey where you will enjoy a Two Night Stay: Kolin Hotel.(B,D)

Day 7 Nessebar
Your Tour Director is on hand to help plan your free day. You may wish to relax by the pool of your hotel, or go for a walk on the beach. Located on the beautiful Black Sea coast the hotel has wonderful views over the sea, and it is only a short drive from Nessebar town.(B,D)

Day 8   Nessebar – Bucharest
After breakfast cross the border into Bulgaria and travel down the Black Sea coast for your two night stay near Nessebar, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Two Night Stay: Sol Nessebar Palace Hotel.(B,D)

Day 9 Bucharest
Travel to the Romanian capital of Bucharest. A more modern structure, Ceauçescu’s imposing Palace of the Parliament is the largest building in Europe. Today enjoy an Included sightseeing tour of the town. Two Night Stay: Marriott Bucharest.(B,D)

Day 10 Bucharest

Day 11 Cernavoda – Black Sea
Cernavoda in Romania is your ship’s base today for an excursion to the seaside town of Constanta, the gateway to the Black Sea coast with the largest harbour in the Black Sea. Also visit Mamaia, this popular resort town stretches 8 kilometres in length, with only a 300 metre sliver of land separating the Black Sea shore from the waters of Lake Siutghiol.(B,L,D)

Day 12 Russe – Arbanassi – Veliko Tarnovo – Svistov
From the former Roman fortress town of Svistov in Bulgaria, venture to Veliko Tarnovo, a town with a rich historical past. In the 14th century as the Byzantine Empire weakened the town was the Bulgarian capital and known as the third Rome. The nearby leafy village of Arbanassi, is included in UNESCO’s world heritage list of valuable cultural sites.(B,L,D)

Day 13 Iron Gate
Be sure to have your camera ready as you cruise the spectacular Iron Gate, a narrow gorge carved by the Danube between the Carpathian and Balkan Mountains, which forms a natural border between Serbia and Romania. Relax on the sun deck or in the observatory lounge as you have a relaxing day of cruising.(B,L,D)

Day 14 Belgrade
Today explore Serbia’s capital Belgrade, one of the oldest capital cities in Europe. Visit Tito’s memorial, Fortress Kalemegdan and see St Sava Church on your Included tour. Day 28 Rhine Gorge – Rüdesheim
Be sure to have your camera ready today, as you cruise through the spectacular Rhine Gorge, with its stunning vistas of castles perched above steep vine-covered slopes. Cruise past Koblenz, at the confl uence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers before reaching the Lorelei rock. Soaring some 120 metres, legend has it that the Rhine maidens lured navigators of this river to their dooms with their alluring singing. Arrive in Rüdesheim and board the ‘Winzerexpress’ mini train for an Included guided visit of Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum before taking a cable car to the Niederwald Monument.(B,L,D)

Day 29 Cologne – Marksburg
Today cruise into Germany to historic Cologne. Day 30 Amsterdam
