Chile is an elongated country located on the west coast of South America, and its capital city of Santiago is a focal point for many Chile vacations. Escorted Chile tours might stop in Santiago as well as other cities in Chile or in its neighboring countries. In addition, Escorted Chile tours combine hotel accommodations, tour guides and transportation between destinations in one low package price. We also offer Chile adventure travel itineraries that include active excursions like walking tours, hiking tours, horseback riding, or whitewater rafting.
Chile vacations include visits to metropolitan centers like Santiago, where wine-tasting and visits to cathedrals and museums make up the day. Chile tours might also trek to San Cristobal Hill for a breath-taking, panoramic view of Santiago. A stop in Valparaiso, a city nestled in a series of rolling hills, is incorporated in some Chile travel packages. Your Chile travel itinerary might also include a stop in Puerto Arenas near the Straight of Magellan, through which Ferdinand Magellan sailed as he explored the world so many years ago.
